Dental Cleaning
scaling
polishing
flossing
Dental cleanings are essential for maintaining optimal oral health and function. During these visits, our dental hygienist will clean, polish and floss your teeth to remove hardened plaque, tartar and bacteria. When combined with diligent brushing and flossing at home, dental cleanings help achieve and maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Periodontal Evaluation & Treatment
periodontal probing
scaling and root planing (deep cleanings)
periodontal maintenance cleanings
Periodontitis, a type of gum disease, is severe inflammation of your gums, with symptoms that include red, bleeding or swollen gums. If left untreated, periodontitis can lead to tooth loss. Treatment may involve deep dental cleaning, also known as scaling and root planing. Our hygienist can evaluate, identify and treat periodontitis.
Radiographs
full mouth xrays
check up xrays
emergency xrays
Dental X-rays can help your dental provider detect oral health issues, like cavities and gum disease, before they worsen. Dental X-rays are essential to proper oral health and maintenance and are considered to be very safe. The radiation risk from a dental X-ray is quite small. In fact, the amount of radiation you get from a full set of dental X-rays is comparable to the amount of radiation you absorb from things like smartphones, computers, and the sun.
Be sure to talk with our dental hygienist if you have any questions about dental xrays.

What is an RDHAP?
Registered Dental Hygienist Alternative Practice
To practice in settings outside a traditional dental office, a registered dental hygienist can pursue specialized training to obtain a specific license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP). These alternative settings may include schools, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, private homes, or their own RDHAP offices.
RDHAPs provide the same professional preventive care that patients receive in a dental office, but at a location more convenient for the patient.
FAQ
Get Informed
What are your fees?
It depends on the services you need. We provide an estimate for all services prior to each appointment. Please call for more information.
Do you take dental insurance?
In an effort to keep costs down, we do not accept dental insurance for payment. As a courtesy, we will complete a dental insurance form for you to submit to your insurance company. They will pay you directly.
How do I pay for services?
Payment is due at the time of service.
We accept cash, check and Zelle.
What if I have a problem and I need dental work?
Upon clinical evaluation, if it is determined that services from a dentist are needed, you can see your dentist of record or we can refer you to dentist.
Can I see you without seeing a dentist?
Yes you can! We can provide hygiene services to you independently for 18 months. By state regulation, after 18 months, we can continue to see you with a written prescription from a physician or a dentist.
Do you adhere to the same level of infection control as a dental office?
Our practice takes infection control very seriously. We follow all CDC and OSHA guidelines. Instruments are sterilized, bagged, sealed and stored according to those guidelines and our practice employs third-party biological testing for sterilization assurance. We use disposable, one-time use products whenever possible while providing care. We are fully vaccinated for COVID and seasonal flu and wear OSHA approved PPE during each appointment.
Do you treat people who are immobile or with severe dementia/Alzheimer's?
Yes we do. Our hygienist specializes in geriatrics and people with disabilities and has extensive experience treating patients with severe dementia and/or Alzheimer's. For immobile patients or those with limited mobility, she can perform services wherever they are most comfortable- bed, recliner, wheelchair, couch, etc.
Do you see children?
Yes we do! We see patients of all ages. In fact, family appointments are available- we come to your home and see your whole family on the same day saving you time and money!
What if it has been years since my last dental visit or if I have never had a dental visit...can you still see me?
Yes we can! We will provide a customized dental hygiene treatment plan just for you. You'll be in good hands!

"We hadn't seen our dentist in over 5 years. My husband had a stroke and could no longer go to the dentist. I am so glad I found you and that you came to our home. You took care of him and me too. We have never had such thorough care. Thank you so much."
